Regrettably, Blessed Sacrament has had to cancel Totus Tuus due to a lack of registrations. If you are still interested in having your children attend, St. Leo's Parish in Grand Island will be hosting Totus Tuus the week of July 22-26, 2019. They will not have preschool as a part of their week, however. Please contact Jodi Stauffer at 382-4753 for more information. Thank you!

If you are interested in registering your children for Totus Tuus, please call Deb Wetzel at 395-8521. This is for children currently in grades preschool through 12th grade. Totus Tuus will be held at Blessed Sacrament the week of June 3-7, 2019. If we don't get more participants, we are going to have to cancel. Deadline to register: May 14, 2019.

Spring-a-ling at Blessed Sacrament found the women present enjoying each other's company, good food and touching presentation by Kim Zeigler who makes Angel Gowns out of old wedding dresses for babies who leave us much too soon. Kim Zeigler is a seamstress with NICU Helping Hands Angel Gowns.

TOTUS TUUS (Vacation Bible School) Don't forget to register your children for Totus Tuus, which will be held June 3-7, 2019, at Blessed Sacrament. This is for young people in grades preschool through graduating seniors. Call Deb Wetzel at 308-395-8521, and she'll get you signed up! It's a great way for your children to learn about our Catholic teachings and traditions! It promises to be a fun week!

Easter Vigil 2019

First Communion was held at Blessed Sacrament on April 7, 2019, at a specially scheduled noon Mass. Twenty two young people celebrated First Eucharist with their families. This year's Edgar Barge Memorial Scholarship winners were announced at the 10:00 am Mass on April 7, 2019. They are: Katelyn Douglass, ($500 winner) daughter of Mike & Diane Douglass, and Kaitlyn Lilly, ($1,000 winner), daughter of John & Shelly Lilly. Both young women were recognized for their outstanding volunteer service to parish, school and community. Katelyn Douglass plans to attend the University of Nebraska in Omaha this fall and major in Pre-Medicine, while Kaitlyn Lilly plans to attend the University of Nebraska in Lincoln to major in Veterinary Medicine. Congratulations to both of our winners!

Blessed Sacrament is proud to announce that we had three winners in the Diocese of Grand Island's Pro-Life Poster Contest. Alexxa Hiegel (1st Place--$30.00); Bella Brandt (2nd Place--$20.00); and Brock Cushing (3rd Place--$10.00). Brock is not pictured. Congratulations to our winners! We're proud of you! Great job!

Join us at Blessed Sacrament Tuesday, April 30. Doors open at 5:30 with dinner served by Country Catering at 6:00. Unite for an evening filled with friends, faith and a guest speaker that will share how she uses her seamstress skills to assist families during thir most difficult times. Kim Ziegler, with NICU Angel Gowns, will share the special story behind these beautiful burial gowns created from donated wedding dresses for angel babies. With NICU Angel Gowns, parents are able to lay their angel baby to rest in something beautiful. Donations of old wedding dresses are greatly appreciated. Tickets are $15 and available for purchase in the Parish Office and before and Masses in the gathering area on April 6,7,12, and 14
